Ed & Jan Alexander

CURITIBA, BRAZIL

Faith Baptist Church began supporting Ed and Jan Alexander in 2003. The Alexanders have served in Brazil since 1986. Currently, Ed serves as the Director of Paraná Baptist Bible College in Curitiba where they seek to equip and train Brazilians to enter full-time ministry. Jan has a large ministry of music—translating sacred music into Portuguese and writing music and arrangements for use in local churches. They also host an annual church music conference that many believers in Brazil attend. 

Roger & Mary Bergman

BERA, NAVARRA, SPAIN

In 1988, Mary and Roger Bergman were called and sent out from Faith Baptist Church. Roger and Mary, along with their son David, minister in the Basque region of Spain as church planters. In addition to the many ways they serve their church, the Bergmans teach English classes and hold Bible studies in the community in order to meet their neighbors and reach them with the gospel.

Kris & Rose Marie Blumer

LIMA, PERU

The Blumers were sent out from Faith Baptist Church in 2012 after confirming God’s call on their life. God has opened doors for Kris and Marie to minister in both mountain and coastal villages in Peru. They are currently studying Spanish to more effectively reach these communities. Kris also teaches part-time at La Molina Christian School in Lima, Peru.

Larry & Kathryn Carlisle

MONTEVIDEO, URUGUAY

The Carlisles have been supported by Faith Baptist Church since 1991. Larry and Kathryn have served as missionaries for over 30 years and are currently ministering in Uruguay. Larry is serving as an interim pastor at a local church in Uruguay while the church prays and seeks for a national pastor. In addition to those responsibilities, Larry also teaches at a Bible college with the purpose of training the next generation of national leaders.

Johnny & Barbara Daniels

CAROLINA, PUERTO RICO

Faith Baptist Church has been supporting the Daniels family for over 40 years. In 1980, Dr. Daniels began Calvary Baptist Bible College, and several years later, a Christian day school was added to the ministry. Dr. Daniels has been instrumental in training and equipping young people to serve the Lord throughout the West Indies.

Curt & Bev Doherty

TW QUARTER CIRCLE RANCH – FOUNTAIN INN, SC

Curt and Bev Doherty have been long-time members of Faith Baptist Church, and Faith’s support for them began in 2010. The Dohertys have a unique ministry, and they seek to reach people with the gospel through horsemanship lessons for all ages, riding lessons for those with special needs, apprenticeship programs, summer camps, and multiple volunteer opportunities.

Gail Ereddia

MGMI HOME OFFICE – PHOENIX, AZ

Gail Ereddia was sent out from Faith Baptist Church in 1985 to serve at Mexican Gospel Mission International (MGMI) in Phoenix, Arizona. In addition to her administrative duties for MGMI, she serves in any way needed to support the ministry of reaching Hispanics for Christ. 

Buddy & Loren Fitzgerald

PUERTO MALDONADO, PERU

The Fitzgerald family was sent out from Faith Baptist Church in 2007. Buddy, Loren, and their children—Joseph, Isaiah, and Abigail—are actively serving the Lord at the local church which they planted and Buddy pastors. The family hosts multiple mission and medical teams each year. Their long-term goal is to move to the jungle to reach unreached people groups and tribes.

Ron & Tina Fruin

CAPE TOWN, SOUTH AFRICA

The Fruins were sent out from Faith Baptist Church in 1997. Ron is the outreach and visitation leader for Calvary Bible Baptist Church, and both he and Tina help with the children’s ministry. Ron also serves in the church’s Bible institute and technical school, where he seeks to teach students valuable trade skills as well as the importance of faithful church attendance and spiritual growth.

Rhonda Green

GUAM, MICRONESIA

Faith Baptist Church became Rhonda Green’s sending church in 1997. Rhonda serves at Harvest Baptist Bible College where she teaches several subjects. She is also involved in the bus ministry, and she spends time ministering to both those at the Bible college and on her bus route.

Craig & Lauri Hartman

JEWISH MINISTRIES – NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK

Faith Baptist Church began supporting the Hartman family in 2007. Craig and Lauri Hartman are the founders of Shalom Ministries Inc., a ministry through which they seek to introduce the Jewish community to their Messiah and equip believers to understand the Bible more fully through Jewish eyes. Craig speaks in churches throughout the United States, equipping congregations to more fully understand the importance of the Jewishness of the Bible. A large part of their ministry includes leading a month-long mission team to NYC and Israel, hosting tours to Israel in coordination with local churches, and organizing and assisting medical outreach trips to Israel.

Keith & Lourdes Huhta

HISPANIC COMMUNITY,  WESTMINSTER, CO

Faith Baptist Church has been supporting Keith and Lourdes Huhta since 1983 while they were serving at Ebenezer Bible Institute in Hermosillo, Mexico. Currently, the Huhtas are ministering to the Hispanic community in Colorado, working with churches in the surrounding area to develop a training center for Hispanic leaders. Keith serves on the staff at Tri-City Baptist Church and is the director of Cross Impact Ministries, an outreach to college campuses across the United States.

Yoichi & Yoko Izu

IRUMA, JAPAN

Since Yoichi received his doctorate from BJU in 2001, the Izus have been ministering in a local church in Iruma, near Tokyo. They use many avenues to reach prepared hearts such as distributing flyers, host a cookie making outreach and teach English classes to gain trust and make contacts. 

Jeannette Joyner

GARUGA, UGANDA

In 1984, Faith Baptist Church became the sending church of Jeanette and her late husband, Tim.

Jeanette and her husband served the Lord together in East Africa for 38 years. After the Lord called Tim home, Jeanette’s desire was to stay in Uganda and to continue carrying on the mission work they had established. She serves in her local church—advising, mentoring, and teaching women and children.

Tom & Selva Kweder

TENTMAKERS IN ASIA

Faith Baptist Church began supporting the Kweders in 1992. Tom and Selva have been blessed with a long and varied ministry in several countries throughout Asia. Most recently, their ministry is to train students and interns to serve on the mission field. 

Bob & Joyce Landis

MAKE A TIMOTHY TODAY, UNITED STATES

Faith Baptist Church began supporting the Landises in 2004. The purpose of Make A Timothy Today (MTT) is to expose teens and college-age young people to the mission field through short-term mission trips. MTT has ministered in nineteen different countries, and today many of their alumni are serving on mission fields around the world.

Monique Lindsey

LIBERIA, WEST AFRICA (ON LEAVE OF ABSENCE)

In 2020, Faith Baptist Church had the privilege of sending Monique Lindsey to Liberia. Her goal is to reach “The Last, the Least, and the Lost for Christ” by working with those with special needs as well as collaborating with and training other missionaries to do the same. Monique is currently in the States receiving medical treatment for cancer. She continues to serve by encouraging local churches in the area to work with those with special needs.

Jethro & Jane Malacao

BROOKE’S POINT, PALAWAN, PHILIPPINES

Faith Baptist Church began supporting Jethro, Jane, and their son Jabez in 2020. Jethro serves as Senior Pastor of Brooke’s Point Bible Church and is leading the effort to establish churches in unreached areas of Palawan. Southern Palawan Christian Academy is a ministry that was born out of the church, and it strives to disciple the church kids and evangelize the lost.

Tim & Kim Melton

NAGOYA, JAPAN

Faith Baptist Church is Tim and Kim Melton’s sending church. Our support for the Meltons began in 1999 when they first went on a short-term trip to Japan. Currently, Tim pastors a Japanese-speaking church, Calvary Baptist Church, as well as an English-speaking church, Nagoya International Baptist Church. Kim teaches ladies’ Bible studies and is very involved in the church ministries.  

Glen & Marci Mongold

MERCHANT SEAMAN – NORFOLK, VA

Faith Baptist Church began supporting the Mongolds in 1988. Glenn and Marci serve with Maritime Ministries in Norfolk, VA, where Glenn spends his time ministering to merchant sailors from all over the world who come to Norfolk. His ministry includes handing out Bible literature in their language, assisting with errands, and inviting and bringing these men to church.

Dan & Jen Olachea

TRANSLATION MINISTRY

Faith Baptist Church became the sending church of the Olacheas in 2023. The Olacheas are part of WorldView Ministries, a Bible translation group based in the United States. Dan and Jen are pursuing Bible translation projects in Africa and specifically the 10/40 window.

Joyce Oshiro

URUMA, OKINAWA, JAPAN

In 1992, Faith Baptist Church began supporting Joyce Oshiro. Joyce is a second-generation missionary to Japan and serves on the island of Okinawa. Joyce is musically gifted and uses her talents to serve her church and reach her community with the gospel.

Marietta Parrott

TW QUARTER CIRCLE RANCH, FOUNTAIN INN, SC

Faith Baptist Church is Marietta’s home church, and our support for her began in 2021. 

Marietta serves at the TW Quarter Circle Ranch (TWQC), and her ministry includes building relationships and sharing the gospel through horsemanship lessons, riding lessons for those with special needs, apprenticeship programs, summer camps, and multiple volunteer opportunities.

Jack & Melinda Peeler

HELPS MINISTRY

Jack and Melinda Peeler were sent out of Faith Baptist Church in 2003 to the tiny atoll of Nukuoro, Micronesia, where they established a church. After experiencing some health setbacks, they returned the States and have been involved in Helps Ministry. Because of Jack’s construction background, he and Melinda are able to travel and serve many ministries throughout the United States. 

Roger & Nola Perrott

HONG KONG

In 2017, Faith Baptist Church began supporting the Perrott family. The Perrotts have been instrumental in planting two churches, one of which is fully autonomous. Roger is also the field leader and president of Chinese Fundamental Baptist Institute. In addition, Roger and Nola teach English classes, hold Bible clubs for children, and host summer camps. 

Jimmy & Rachel Pierre

HAITIANS IN FLORIDA

Faith Baptist Church began supporting Jimmy, Rachel and their daughter Ava in 2022. The Pierre family is currently serving as church planters to the Haitian community in Florida. Jimmy was born in Haiti, and he and Rachel hope to return one day to spread the gospel. 

Samuel & Beth Rojas

HISPANICS IN FLORIDA

In 2009, the Rojas family began their ministry in Peru, and Faith Baptist Church took them on for support in 2010. After a furlough in the United States, they saw a need to share the gospel with the immigrant community and felt burdened to relocate and begin a church plant among the Hispanic community. The Rojas family lives in central Florida with their children—Bethany, Joseph, Jordan and Emily. In 2023, Faith Baptist Church voted to become their sending church.

Timothy & Ivy Seidu

WA, GHANA, WEST AFRICA

Faith Baptist Church began supporting the Seidu family 2008. Timothy is the pastor of Faith Fundamental Baptist Church and has planted 11 other churches. Timothy and his wife, Ivy, bring Christ to the Ghanaian people through their church, Bible institute, and Christian school. They have three sons—Jason, Jesse, and John Mark.

Matthew & Susanna Schrock

IVORY COAST, WEST AFRICA

In 2022, Matthew, Susanna, and their children–Selah and Lucas–spent a year working with Susanna’s parents, who are missionaries in the Ivory Coast. During this time, God confirmed in their hearts the calling to serve as church planters. The Schrocks are currently on deputation raising support.

Ron & Kim Smith

MILITARY IN CALIFORNIA

In 1991, Faith Baptist Church began supporting Ron and Kim Smith. Ron is the pastor of Victory Baptist Church in the Mojave Desert near the Edwards Air Force Base in California City. Because of their close proximity to the Air Force base, their congregation is largely made up of active military. The Smiths also have a dynamic ministry in the prison system.

Emily Snodgrass

TRUJILLO, PERU

Emily has been serving the Lord in Peru since 2008. Faith Baptist Church voted to begin supporting her in 2020. Her ministry involves teaching classes at Peru Baptist Bible College and discipling young women in her community and church—Gethsemane Independent Baptist Church.

Aaron & Emily Thompson

IWATSUKI, JAPAN

In 2016, Faith Baptist Church voted to become the Thompsons’ sending church. Aaron and Emily and their children—Shiloh, Elianna, and Noah—have been serving at a local church in Japan while learning the Japanese language. Their next goal is to seek out a new area to begin the work of establishing a church. 

John & Carol Vaughn

JOHN C. VAUGHN EVANGELISTIC ASSOCIATION, INC.

John Vaughn served as Pastor of Faith Baptist Church for over 30 years. After his retirement, he established John C. Vaughn Evangelistic Association, which focuses on encouragement to local pastors and missionaries. He has also authored several books including his biography— “More Precious than Gold.”

Joe & Sherri Willis

FOUNDATIONS BAPTISTS FELLOWSHIP INTERNATIONAL UNITED STATES CHAPLAINCY

Joe Willis served our nation in the military for many years. In 2014, he became the Chaplain recruiter for Foundations Baptist Fellowship International (FBFI). He travels to churches and college campuses encouraging young men to serve the Lord and our country through the chaplaincy. In 2016, Faith Baptist Church voted to become a supporting church. He and his wife Sherri and their daughter Katelyn live in Tennessee.

Dan & Opal Wokaty

DIRECTOR OF MGMI – PHEONIX, AZ

Faith Baptist Church began supporting the Wokaty family in Mexico in 2000. In 2018, they transitioned to Arizona where Dan created a ministry under Mexican Gospel Mission International (MGMI) called TEAM Mobile Seminary, which focuses on equipping “Latin American national pastors with tools for them to train their faithful countrymen.” In 2023, Dan became MGMI’s fourth General Director. They have two children at home—Daniel and Rose.

Mark & Diane Zimmer

YAP, MICRONESIA

God called Mark and Diane to the Island of Yap in 2004, and Faith Baptist Church began their support the same year. Mark is the pastor of Yap Baptist Church. A large part of his ministry involves disciplining men while fishing with them and teaching them to mill lumber. Their sons—Caleb and Levi—live at home.

Paul & Sherry Zimmer

YAP, MICRONESIA

In 1999, God called the Zimmers to the small island of Yap, Micronesia, and Faith Baptist Church became their sending church. The Lord has used the Zimmer family to establish several churches on Yap, as well as open doors to some of the outer islands through Paul’s skill with solar panels. The Lord has also allowed them to establish a Christian school on the island.

Camp Ironwood

NEWBERRY SPRINGS, CA

Faith Baptist Church began supporting Camp Ironwood in 2008. “Ironwood is a home missions ministry, located in California, using the unique aspects of the camping ministry to reach young people for the Lord Jesus Christ, strengthen families, and serve local churches.”

Caribbean Radio Lighthouse

ANTIGUA, WEST INDIES

Three missionaries in Antigua first started Caribbean Radio Lighthouse (CRL) in 1975. The Lighthouse is in the Eastern Caribbean and is under Baptist International Missions Inc. (BIMI). The ministry began as a response to requests from local missionaries and pastors who desired the support of biblical radio programming in their area.

The Wilds Christian Camp/CampsAbroad

BREVARD, NC

In 2001, The Wilds started their mission arm of the ministry, CampsAbroad. CampsAbroad exists “to help ministries around the world establish camp programs that glorify God, build up believers, and reach people for Christ.”
