About Us

Born to Christian parents in Minnesota, Aaron received the Lord at a young age. God used missions conferences in the church and missions stories in the home to lead Aaron to surrender to missions. Following that call, Aaron received his education at Bob Jones University (BA Pastoral Studies, MA Bible, M.Div.). During a college internship in Hawaii, Aaron met a young Japanese woman who pleaded with him to bring the gospel to Japan. Seeing the Lord’s hand in this meeting, Aaron and Emily visited Japan to see the Great Commission need first-hand. God used the overwhelming lostness of the Japanese people, the invitation of the local missionaries, and the encouragement of their local church to confirm God’s call to Japan.

Born to missionaries in São Paulo, Brazil, Emily considers it a privilege that her parents, Ed and Jan Alexander, faithfully explained the plan of salvation to her at an early age. At the age of four, she placed her faith in Christ alone as her personal Savior. When she was in Junior high she went on a missions trip with her Brazilian youth group to the country of Paraguay. God used that trip to help her see the need for missions worldwide. She surrendered to do whatever God might ask her to do. She met Aaron in graduate school and they were married in 2012.  In 2015,  they started to pray that God would show them His will for the future. God used a three-week trip to Japan and lots of prayer to confirm His call on their lives to Japan.  The Thompsons have a son, Shiloh, and a daughter, Elianna.  They left for the field on July 23, 2019.
