About Us

Jethro is one of the many souls who came to the saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ due to the plane crash of former missionary pilot in    the Philippines, Rick Searls.  Providentially, this accident led to the founding of Brook’s Point Bible Church (a church that Jethro now pastors) after the Searls and the Malacaos got acquainted in 1978.  He responded to the gospel message shared by Rick Searls and walked down the aisle to accept Christ as Savior in 1987.

God led Jethro into full-time service and prepared him for this vocation. He graduated from Bob Jones Memorial Bible College in the Philippines in 2005 with the Bachelor’s Degree and in 2007 with the Master’s Degree. After some years of ministry in his country, he graciously received a Timothy Scholarship from Bob Jones University and graduated in 2014 with a Doctor of Pastoral Theology degree. His wife, Jackie Ann, benefited from the ministry of Heritage Discipleship Institute under the leadership of Pastor Matthew Recker in Manhattan, New York.  Presently, the couple, together with their three-year-old son, Jabez, serve in Brooke’s Point Bible Church in Southern Palawan, Philippines.

Dr. Malacao’s ministry involves pastoring, church planting, Bible School teaching, Christian Academy, Radio Ministry and Youth Camps.  Their earnest desire is to develop the Southern Palawan Ministry into a hub of Christian evangelism, discipleship, and fundamentalism in the entire province.
